Jenny Allen | Director
Jenny Allen commenced as Director in February 2017. She was previously Chief Executive of the 500 Club, in 2016. Prior to that, Ms Allen was Chief Executive Officer of Youth Focus Inc. During her 16 years with Youth Focus, Ms Allen’s significant contribution to the sector was recognised with the Western Australian of the Year Community Award (2013); her nomination as the only woman finalist for WA in the 2014 Australian of the Year Awards; and she received the John Da Silva Award for Lifetime Achievement in the mental health sector at the 2015 Mental Health Good Outcomes Awards.
Karen Bassett | Development Manager
Karen Bassett has worked with the Western Australian Museum Foundation for over 15 years. In her current role she is responsible for generating and managing a wide range of corporate partnerships, stakeholder engagement and philanthropy across the Museum's broad range of disciplines and sites. Karen has been involved in the culture and arts sector over numerous years including her earlier career with the Perth Theatre Trust.
Kylie Weston | Donor Relations Manager
Kylie joined the WA Museum Foundation team in September 2013. Prior to this she worked for seven years at The University of Western Australia. During this time, Kylie’s roles included working in the UWA Business School’s External Relations team, who successfully raised $25 million through a Futures Fund and capital works campaign. In addition, Kylie has held marketing and event roles in the UK. Kylie holds a Bachelor of Business degree.
Marisa Boyle | Finance Manager
Marisa Boyle has had a 20 year career in finance in the insurance and fundraising sector. She currently works as Finance Officer for the WA Museum Foundation managing the financial and administrative duties of the organisation. Prior to that she was an employee of the SGIO Perth office where she worked for 10 years, with the last two years as Management Accountant in the Finance Department. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Kylie Aitkenhead | Development Co-ordinator
Kylie Aitkenhead’s sponsorship marketing career began in the mid 1990's and expands across the telecommunications, tourism, architecture, and education sectors. Development became her focus after joining the Sponsorship & Development Team at the National Museum of Australia in 2001. She was then instrumental in the redevelopment of a national sponsorship program offered by the Australian Institute of Architects before relocating back to Western Australia to join the $25 million fundraising campaign for the UWA Business School. Kylie joined the WA Museum Foundation Team in August 2016.
