WA Maritime Museum
Students from Fremantle Primary School, St Patrick's Primary School and Lance Holt School took inspiration from local artist, Marion Duke, to produce mixed media illustrations based on the emotional story of the "Catalpa Escape".
This special exhibition can be seen at the WA Maritime Museum until Thursday 14 January.
Acknowledgements: The Fenians Art Project was developed in collaboration with storyteller historians, Mike & Joy Lefroy, with illustrator, Samantha Hughes and coordinated by Paper Bird Children's Books & Arts in Fremantle.
